In this course, you will learn what job definition format (JDF) is and how it helps you to automate digital workflows for print jobs. We will look at how to configure your Fiery system to work in a JDF or job messaging format (JMF) workflow. You will also learn how to create and integrate your JDF files in order to automate job ticket tasks on your Fiery server.

By the end of this module, you will be able to relate the importance of a JDF workflow in improving your production business processes.
By the end of this module, you will be able to define what JDF is, compare JDF and JMF file specifications, and discover why each was created.
Here you will learn the different parts that make up the JDF/JMF file specification. This data is responsible for populating the job tickets.
